NEW DELHI, May 2: There was not much activity at the wholesale steel market in the national capital today and prices after moving in a tight range on little doing and settled at previous levels.
Traders said absence of wortwhile activity from construction units against adequate stocks position mainly kept prices unaltered.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 47,500, 10-mm Rs 47,000, 12-mm Rs 44,600, 16-25 mm Rs 45,300.
Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,700, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm, Rs 42,400, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.
MS Angle: (50×5) (50×6) Rs 42,000, (40×5) (40×6) Rs 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40×6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000. (PTI)
