JAMMU, Aug 10: A meeting of State Forest Corporation (SFC) Employees Union Chenab Valley was held under the chairmanship of its president, Mohd Iqbal Qureshi to highlight their pending demands.
Speaking on the occasion, Qureshi said that the SFC employees have been performing their duties in far-flung areas and dense forest to save the property of the Government without any care of their lives, but in turn the Government has kept them deprived of their rights.
He urged the higher ups of the Corporation to redress their demands including release of 20% DA and arrears of pending 10% DA from July 2010.
Those who attended the meeting included general secretary, Bashir Ahmed Shapoo, Inayatullah Zargar, Tanveer Ahmed Malik, Irshad Ahmed Beg, Shadi Lal Bhagat, Ashanula, Mohd Shafi Naik and many others.
