NCOM meets Health Minister, submits memorandum

JAMMU, Aug 10: A deputation of Non Camp Organization Migrant (NCOM) met Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma at new Secretariat and urged him to rehabilitate the Kashmiri Pandit migrants living in rented accommodations.
While speaking, Nana Jee Dambi, president and vice president Ashok Kumar Pandita submitted a memorandum to the Health Minister.
The Minister directed the Relief Commissioner for immediate steps for the rehabilitation of 190 families living in rented accommodation.
Meanwhile, the organization has decided to continue their protest till the Relief Commissioner makes allotment to these 190 rented families at Jagti township.
The organization served an ultimatum to the Government for the allotment of quarters to the rented families till August 20 at Jagti township, otherwise the organization will resume its hunger strike.
