SRINAGAR, Aug 10: Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered about 150 grams of charas from them in Kupwara district.
A police spokesman said that Kupwara police apprehended Ghulam Mohammad Lone, son of Habibullah resident of Reddi-Chokibal at Trehgam, Kupwara along with 40 grams of cannabis.
On the instance of the accused one more peddler Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, son of Abdul Rehman resident of Mandian Chogal, Handwara was also nabbed along with 110 grams of cannabis.
A case FIR No. 48/2012 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in this regard.
