Fresh Western Disturbance to hit J&K tomorrow

SRINAGAR:
A fresh Western Disturbance (WD) is likely to hit the region tomorrow night which could result in rain or thundershowers in the Kashmir valley, where the mercury remained above normal during the past week.
Kargil recorded lowest 3.1 degree Celsius as the minimum temperature in the region, a Met department spokesman said here this afternoon. He said there would be thundery development at isolated places in Kashmir and Jammu division during the next 24 hours. Possibility of dust storm at isolated places in plain of Jammu division is also person, he said.
During the subsequent four days, a fresh WD is expected to enter Jammu and Kashmir which could remain active onwards. It was yet another pleasant day in the Valley where though the mercury remained above normal but winds also continued. (AGENCIES)
