JAMMU, May 7: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice Janak Raj Kotwal today granted two weeks time to State for filing status report with regard to action taken against separatist leaders.
When Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking action against separatist leaders and censorship of news regarding anti national activities came up before Division Bench, Senior AAG Seema Shekhar sought two weeks time for submitting the status report with respect to action taken against the separatist leaders.
While granting two weeks time, the DB said, “the State shall also disclose what steps have been taken so that news items regarding anti-national activities do not get the limelight and law and order problem is not disturbed because of these news items”.
