PRP reconstituted

SRIANGAR, May 7: People’s Republican Party (PRP) was reconstituted in a meeting here today and Advocate G M Tramboo was elected as its chairman.
Mukhtar Ahmed Kathwari, Ghulam –ud-Din Gulshan, Ghulam Mohammed War, Bashir Ahmed Malik, Harjit Singh and Pran Nath Raina were elected as its vice presidents.
Ghulam Ahmed Hamdard was elected as general secretary while Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani was elected as chief spokesperson. Vikram Singh was elected as chief organizer, Ghulam Mohammad Rather as State secretary, Mir Mudasir as joint secretary and Mukhtar Ahmed Bazaz as organizing secretary.
Darshan Singh was elected as advisor, Sheikh Mohammed Maqbool as organizer, Ghulam Ahmed Khan as chief coordinator and Abdul Razak Dar as treasurer.
The meeting later urged the Government to take immediate steps for rehabilitation of flood victims of last year in the State and also clear its stand on recruitment policy as there are many apprehensions among the educated youth about the same.
It also resolved to extend a full support to collation in restoration of peace, eradication of corruption as well as development of all three regions of the State.
