UDHAMPUR, May 7: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal convened a meeting with members of District Level Committee constituted for providing facility for transportation of CA&PD ration to far flung areas of the district here today.
During the meeting, DDC, who is also the chairman of the committee, discussed various issues for the arrangement of transport facility for transportation of CA&PD Department ration to far flung areas of Udhampur district and to other adjoining districts.
The committee comprising of District Treasury Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer as members and Assistant Director, CA&PD Department as member secretary, was directed to publicize notice for inviting short term tender for arrangements of transport facility for the transportation of CA&PD ration in the district.
She also instructed the committee to conduct a market survey of transport charges of ration at the earliest. She also gave necessary instructions to ensure smooth transportation of ration in far flung areas of the district.
Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal, District Treasury Officer, Sanjay Kumar, District Information Officer, Udhampur, Dr Ashwani Hansa, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Neeraj Sharma and Assistant Director CA&PD Department, Zeeshan Tahir attended the meeting.
