RAMBAN, May 7: Chanderkote police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past four years.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Chanderkote police station led by SHO Inspector Manzoor Ahmed Kohli under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2011.
The accused has been identified as Kuldip Singh, son of Bhagat Singh of Dhanhas, tehsil Chenani.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 34/2011 under Section 8/15 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act with police station Chanderkot.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
