MROTEK on revival path

BANGALORE, Aug 10: Side lined by a flurry of activities  in the telecom sector, including the spectrum scam, Indigenous telecom networking solution provider Mrotek is on a revival  path and aims to get its lost glory over the next two years.
Mrotek Chairman and Managing Director S Narayanan told here that the company is banking on a suite of next generation network products that would ensure that the company was back in rails.
Earning predominantly from the telecom service providers and internet operators, the Rs 20 crore Mrotek said the new suit of solutions incorporated some of the best R and D efforts from the company. ‘We position ourselves as a global solution architect in the carrier grade access technologies,’ he said.
Provider of last mile solution, Mrotek is continuously working on next generation technologies, he said, adding Mrotek products were generating substantial interest among larger enterprises and service providers who understand the importance and necessity for a complete integrated networking solutions.
‘We are planning to strengthen our position in the newer markets in next one year,’ he said, adding the sector would be witnessing new players over the next few years.
Company Vice-President-Technology M Madhava said integrating Ethernet solutions over standard carrier networks was a simple way of handling a growing traffic effectively and manage network  efficiently.
