Srinagar, May 9: A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband in Tanghdar area of Kupwara district today.
Police said that a 60-year-old, Nazim Jan, was brutally beaten and critically injured by her husband Ghulam Rasool Khan son of Haba Khan resident of Nowpora Suliman Tanghdar.
The woman was shifted to SKIMS Soura where she succumbed to her injuries. Tanghdar police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
