JAMMU, May 11: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by practicing advocates seeking direction for computerization of courts, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice Janak Raj Kotwal today granted three weeks time to the State for coming up with the stand on the issue.
After hearing Advocate Aparajita Jamwal appearing for the PIL whereas Advocate Amrish Kapoor appearing for the High Court and Senior AAG SS Nanda appearing for the State, DB observed that Registrar General and NIC have already submitted the proposal to Chief Secretary in connection with computerization and e-filing.
Division Bench granted three weeks time to Senior AAG to come up with stand of Chief Secretary.
