Omar takes dig at PDP-BJP for Council nominations without Cabinet sanction

SRINAGAR:
Criticising People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for clearing nominations for Legislative Council nominations, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today asked how it could be done without Cabinet sanction.
Mr Abdullah tweeted, ”I wonder how the file was cleared with such undue haste if the basic Cabinet sanction hadn’t been obtained.”
He was reacting to NC spokesperon’s tweet Junaid Azim Matto that ”J&K Govt to seek cabinet ‘clearance’ for LC nominations after nominated MLCs have already taken oath as MLCs. How does this make sense?”
On not inviting the NC MLA from Pahalgam during the tour to the health resort, Mr Abdullah said, ”What goes around comes around. He (Mufti) & his party won’t be in power forever. As he shall sow, so he shall reap.”
There was another tweet by Mattu which read ”Mufti tours Pahalgam Constituency with the defeated PDP MLA and doesnt invite the elected NC MLA. Someone remind him he’s CM of J&K now.”
In another tweet about U-turn by Central Government, Mr Abdullah said,  ”So it’s not just the Mufti Govt in J&K that has perfected the art of political U-turn.” (AGENCIES)
