Madan Lal demands one time settlement for pending affairs of refugees

JAMMU, Aug 11: Member Parliament (MP) Jammu Poonch constituency Madan Lal Sharma demanded one time settlement for pending affairs of refugees.
While addressing a gathering of OBC and others at Brevi Kalakote on the occasion of Goga Navami to pay homage to Raja Mandlik, Sharma appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to take up the matter with Central Government for one time settlement of the issues of refugees.
Sharma requested the CM to order the immediate redressal of the issues, which State Government can resolve at its own including providing state subjects to the West Pakistani refugees.
He informed that he has taken up the issue of refugees in Parliament during budget session and UPA Government is keen to resolve the same.
Sharma expressed his dissatisfaction of implementation of centrally sponsored schemes at gross root level. He directed the officers to involve the Panchayats as per Cabinet order in developmental works and aware the masses so that they can avail the benefit meant for them.
He also announced Rs 10 lakh for construction of community hall for OBC Community near Raja Mandlik temple Brevi.
