Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping today stressed the need to strengthening counter-terror measures as they held their summit talks here in the backdrop of the Taliban attack in Kabul and ISIS attack in Karachi.
The two leaders felt that India and China should increase their cooperation in fighting terrorism, Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar told reporters after the meeting between Mr Xi and Mr Modi, who arrived here on a three-day visit to China, his first after assuming office.
