11 injured in road mishap

JAMMU, Aug 11: Eleven persons were injured in two buses collision at Gumpul area under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per reports, A bus coming from District Rajouri to Jammu bearing registration number JKO2X 3053 collided head on with Akhnoor bound bus-bearing number JKO2E 8817 this afternoon at Gumpul area of the city outskirts, leading to serious injuries to eleven passengers.
On receiving information, police party from Domana Police Station and locals rushed to the spot, started rescue operation and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in police and other vehicles, where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Balbir Singh, son of Paras Ram of Kalakote, Tarseem Singh, son of Ajit Singh of Akhnoor, Neelam Kumari, wife of Ghar Singh of Digiana, Laxmi, daughter of Puran Chand of Reshamgarh Colony, Anupama, wife of Trilok Singh of Chennani, Khem Kumari, wife of Puran Chand of Kalakote, Shivani, wife of Surinder Gupta of Rehari, Parmo Devi, wife of Jyoti Parkash of Talab Tillo, Bharat Bhushan, son of Rattan Chand of Akhnoor, Lalita Sharma, wife of Gautam Sharma of Akhnoor at present Shiv Nagar and Neeraj Arora, wife of Sunil Arora of Kot Bhalwal.
A case has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
