DODA, May 15: To deliver the public services to the people at their doorsteps, MLA Doda, Shakti Raj Parihar today held series of public grievance redressal camps at Mohalla and Jodhpur area of the Doda.
Deputations from different areas interacted with the MLA and apprised him about the problems faced by the people in rural areas which include the timely restoration of road connectivity, construction of Shiva Dal Bridge, lift irrigation scheme, restoration of irrigation canals, shortage of staff in rural schools, water supply, unscheduled power cuts, excessive load on the existing transformers, availability of ration in CA&PD stores etc to which Mr. Parihar gave a patient hearing and gave on spot directions to the concerned authorities for early redressal.
Responding to the demand of the people regarding the delayed construction of the Shiva Dal Bridge over river Chenab, which will connect the entire Jodhpur area with the Batote-Kishtwar national highway, Mr. Parihar said funds amounting to Rs two crore have been released and the executing agency has been directed to execute the work on war footing basis.
