NEW DELHI, Aug 11:
After entertaining cinegoers with his romantic portrayal in ‘Cocktail’, actor Saif Ali Khan will don a ‘action hero’ avataar in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next film titled ‘Bullet Raja’.
“Yes Saif is doing our next film titled ‘Bullet Raja’. The film will go on floors in November this year and will be shot in and around Lucknow, apart from portions in Mumbai and Kolkata,” film producer Rahul Mittra of Brandsmith Motion Pictures told here.
On the reason for roping in Saif for the film, a complete entertainer packed with action whose narrative will be set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh-based mafia, Rahul said, “Saif is a brilliant actor and a popular star apart from being a great human being and I look forward working with him.”
Rahul, who just finished shooting ‘Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns’, the sequel of last year’s hit ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’, says, “While Saif will play the main protagonist, Jimmy Sheirgill will essay the role of his gangster friend.”
The producers are busy looking rest of the crew and cast for the next directorial venture of Tigmanshu, who is riding high after the super success of ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’ and ‘Paan Singh Tomar’.
‘Bullet Raja’ is seen as a big announcement from Brandsmith Motion Pictures.
