Shiv Sena delegation meets Transport Minister

JAMMU, May 17: A deputation of Shiv Sena led by its National president, Dimpy Kohli, State president, Vikrant Kapoor and GI Singh, met Transport Minister, Abdul Ghani Kohli and presented a memorandum to him regarding Shri Amaranth Yatra.
The deputation demanded transport and other concerning facilities for the upcoming Shri Amaranth Yatra, exemption of Toll Tax for trucks and buses carrying Langar material and free transportation facility for the pilgrims from Railway Station to base camp, Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar.
They also demanded that checking of vehicles carrying yatris be done at one point only. The deputation also asked the Transport Minister to issue Tatkal driving License to public.
The Minister assured the deputation that he will look into its demands try to implement the same.
