JAMMU, May 18: A teenage boy was allegedly stabbed this evening by another boy in Bhor Camp area following a minor dispute while playing a cricket match.
According to a police spokesperson, the victim has been identified as Naveen Sharma (16) son of Koushal Sharma, a resident of Ward No 1, Bhor Camp. He said while playing a cricket match a scuffle broke out between the victim and another boy namely Sonu, who attacked and injured the former with his ‘Kirpaan’.
The injured Naveen was immediately rushed to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, from where later he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this connection and further investigations are underway.
