AKHNOOR, May 18: An awareness-cum- grievances reddressal camp for the villagers residing closer to LoC was held at Samwan in Khour.Tehsildar Khour Ram Pal Sharma and Naib tehsildar Ujagar Singh educated the villagers about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Jan Dhan Yojna launched by the Prime Minister besides other Centrally sponsored schemes. Sarpanchs, Numberdars, Naib Sarpanchs and many villagers attended the camp. They also projected their issues like de-silting of D-25 channel, repair of damaged transformers, replacement of electric poles, shortage of ration and non-functioning of Tube wells. Tehsildar listened to their grievances and spoken to the concerned authorities on the spot.
