KATHUA, May 18: One person was killed and another got seriously injured when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a stranded tipper near Gujru Nagrota here this evening.
As per police sources, two persons got seriously injured, when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a stranded tipper near Gujru Nagrota here this evening.
The injured were rushed to SDH Ramkote and later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment, but one of them identified as Himmat Singh, son of Balwinder Singh of Kandrnoo, tehsil Billawar died on the way to GMCH.
The other injured namely Kulwant Singh of Karedeh was undergoing treatment at GMCH, where his condition was stated to be serious, when reports last came in.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
