MP sanctions Rs 10 lakh for Khour school building

AKHNOOR, Aug 12:  Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch constituency and senior Congress leader, Madan Lal Sharma, visited several areas of Khour block and announced Rs 10 lakh for additional examination block of Govt High School Kaleeth today.
The MP accompanied by several district officers paid extensive visit of the border block and directed Assistant Commissioner Development from RDD for channelising work for the pond (Talab) under MGNREGA at the village and complete the same on priority.
At village Chamarki, the MP inaugurated the newly constructed concrete pathway to a religious place ( Raja Mandlik Dev), constructed at the cost of Rs 3.73 lakh out of MP LADS fund.
Addressing large gathering the MP said that has provided funds to the tune of Rs 2.50 crore to block Khour under MP LADS Fund for various works. He expressed his displeasure over the works which were delayed due to various reasons in the area. He said that Congress was committed for the 73rd and 74th  amendment in the Panchayati Raj Act.
