SAMBA, May 23: A unknown man in his late 30s was today ran over by Shalimar Express at 65.2 km down track towards Jammu.
According to SHO, police station GRP Jammu, Neeraj Choudhary, at about 5.30 am this morning, a man, who is yet to be identified, fell from a running train and got ran over by it, when it was on its way towards Jammu from Samba. The man died on the spot, he added.
He said that the dead body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and other medico-legal formalities.
