JAMMU, May 23: Three persons today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in different parts of city outskirts.
According to police sources, a man namely Gurdev Singh (30) son of Janak Singh, a resident of Babliana, Gadigarh today consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Similarly, one Amandeep Singh (20) son of Rashpal Singh of Trikuta Nagar also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMCH by the family members.
In another case, an 18-year old girl namely Deepika Bharti daughter of Vishwamitra consumed excessive dose of sleeping pill at her home after which she was shifted to GMCH.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
