Meanwhile an emergency meeting was held at Jagti near here under the leadership of Pintoo Ji to discuss return and rehabilitation issue.
The meeting said that “it is with great dismay to note that some Kashmiri Pandit leaders, were called for meeting by the Government of J&K at Delhi to decide about the fate of beleaguered Kashmiri Hindu community for return and rehabilitation in their land of birth”.
The meeting questioned that how can a few bunch of people who even remotely do not represent the displaced community at all or carry any mandate of the majority of the displaced community to represent them in any meeting with the Government or any other agency, can deliberate or decide about their future.
Pintoo Jee cautioned those participants in the meeting that since return is a very delicate and contentious issue at this juncture that involves the fool proof safety, security and economic survival of the displaced people.
