Excelsior Correspondent RAJOURI, Aug 12: Two children became serious after they mistakenly consumed some poisonous stuff at their home while four other persons made suicide attempts on their life in district Rajouri today. A police spokesman said that 3-year-old Aqib and 5-year-old Saima, children of Mohd Aslam became serious after they consumed some poisonous stuff at home at village Potha in Kalakote. The children were rushed to local hospital where doctors after providing preliminary treatment referred them to GMC hospital, Jammu. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Shazia, wife of Dil Khursheed and Mehnaz Akhtar, wife of Shehnaz Khan of Ward No. 9 Rajouri consumed some poisonous substance at their respective places today, they were rushed to Rajouri hospital by families. Their condition was said to be serious. The police has taken cognizance. Two persons namely, Mohd Shabir (30), son of Mohd Bashir of Niaka Panjgrain and Rattan Singh, son of Tirath Singh of Noniyal in Nowshera, also made similar bids on their life. The police was investigating the matter. Rattan has been referred to GMC, hospital Jammu.
