REASI, May 30: Police today rescued 30 bovine animals and arrested the smuggler from village Khour Ban in Mahore.
Reports said that acting on specific information that some persons were on way to Kashmir along with 30 bovine animals, police raided village Khour Ban and rescued the animals.
The bovine smuggler, namely Jameel was also arrested by the Police team, headed by Incharge Police Post Dewal under the supervision of SHO Mahore, SDPO Mahore, Addl SP Reasi and overall supervision of SSP Reasi, Sujit Kumar.
In this connection case FIR No.47/2015 U/S 188 RPC stands registered at P/S Mahore and investigation is in progress.
