CT Group of Institutions organizes Career Mela

JAMMU, May 30:  Two-day ‘Career Mela’ was organized as a joint venture of CT Group of Institutions and Kareer Kafe for the Polytechnic students of colleges affiliated under Directorate of Technical Education, J&K and  school students of 9th to 12th at Government Polytechnic, Jammu.
The career guidance fair provided high quality guidance and counseling programme as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Around 245 students and parents attended the fair to seek counseling for improved courses selection from renowned education experts. The highlights of the programme were Career Awareness, Career Planning and Progression.
On the first day, Polytechnic students and their parents were counseled while on the second day school students will be given guidance on skill-oriented courses and vocational studies. Counselors and reputed Institutes from Punjab, Jammu and other places participated in the event.
Deliberate interactions with the students and parents by professional career counselor were carried out. There were exhibition stalls to guide students on how to get admissions to education institutes affiliated with them. Each student or applicant was assessed according to their aptitude, interest and capability.
Er  Arun Bangotra, Principal, Government Polytechnic, Jammu, exclaimed over the response while  Gauri Chhabra, Career Consultant, Kareer Kafe, said, “This Career Counseling and Psychometric session was essential for the students who need to build emotional strengths, motivation to perform and develop their personalities.
S  Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions, said, “On the endeavour of providing the pathway to success, we are keen to organize such useful and meaningful events for our students and society.
The Career Counseling Mela was attended by experienced teachers, educationists and intellectuals.
