UDHAMPUR, May 30: A man died due to fall from a bridge in a nallah in Tikri area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Tikri.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Mohd Ali (30) son of Fidha Ali, a resident of Kargil, got slipped from a bridge and fell into the nallah, last night. He was seriously injured in the accident and was rushed to a nearby hospital from where later he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
