JAMMU, June 2: A deputation of the PHE workers met the Chief Engineer PHE Jammu, Prem Nath here today and projected their demands.
The workers led by trade unionist, Subash Verma, under the banner of PHE Workers Welfare Association met the Chief Engineer in his office chamber, at BC Road today and submitted a memorandum with charter of demands. They demanded that all type of workers who have completed five years in service be regularized and all the workers should get pay before 5th of every month. They also stressed for clearance of all backlog wages, early conduct of DPC of all cadre and constitutional of welfare fund for the employees.
Senior members of the Association Rattan Doshi, Chuni Lal, Manzoor Ali, Ram Labhaya and Varun Dogra also accompanied.
