7 bovines rescued, accused arrested

REASI, June 3:   Reasi Police today arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued seven bovines from his possession.
A specific information was received at Police Station, Arnas that some persons were onway towards Kashmir alongwith bovine animals via Hunder Gali Tehsil Arnas.
On this, a Police team headed by Inspector Sanjay Gupta, SHO, Arnas under the supervision of Zaffar Nawaz, KPS SDPO Arnas, Sanjay Singh Rana, Additional SP Reasi and overall supervision of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi laid a naka at Hunder Gali.
During naka duty one bovine smuggler namely Qamar Din son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Shajroo Tehsil Mahore, district Reasi was apprehended and seven bovine animals were rescued from his possession.
In this connection case FIR number 45/2015 under Section of 188 RPC and 3 PC Act stands registered at Police Station Arnas and investigation is in progress.
