Dy CM conveys condolences to families of martyrs

JAMMU, June 5: Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh has conveyed heartfelt condolence to the families of the soldiers who laid down their life while fighting militants in Manipur.
Among 20 Armymen of 6 Dogra Regiment martyred in a militant attack in Manipur’s Chandel District yesterday, six were from Jammu and Kashmir. They were NB Ram Singh of Swankha Morh.Vijaypur, Hawaldar Sat Paul Bhasin of village Muthi, L.N Kuldeep Raj of Village Bern, Gharota, Havaldar Sumit Sharma of Village Phal, Sunderbani, Havaldar Randeep Singh of village Barmal, Akhnoor and Sepoy Vijay Kumar of Village Sehra Khor Akhnoor.
Deputy CM conveyed deep condolence to the bereaved families of martyrs and said whole nation was with them to share their grief. He prayed to Almighty to give courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. He also termed the attack on Army personnel in Manipur as distressing.
