NEW DELHI, June 6: Freight rates for the nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on increased cargo movements against tight availability of strucks.
Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly helped select destinations freight rates higher.
Freight rates from Delhi to Kanpur, Indore and Baroda were enquired higher by Rs 500 each to Rs 20,000, Rs 22,000 and Rs 25,500 respectively.
