Absconding ex-militant nabbed

JAMMU, June 6: Jhajjar Kotli police nabbed an ex-militant, who was evading his arrested in Arms Act case registered against him several years back.
As per police sources, on specific information about hiding of an ex-militant wanted in Arms Act case, a police team from Jhajjar Kotli police station conducted a raid in district Doda and nabbed him.
The accused has been identified as Mohd Yaqoob alias Abu Saraka, son of Fateh Mohammad of Village Batheri, Tehsil Kahra, District Doda.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 87/2006 under Section 7/27 Indian Arms Act with police station Jhajjar Kotli.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO police station Jhajjar Kotli SI Hilal Azhar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
