KATRA, June 6: Continuing its drive against sale of liquor in the holy town, Katra Police today arrested another bootlegger and seized 38 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession.
The accused, identified as Anil Kumar alias Takra of Panthal, Katra, was intercepted at Panthal by Police during a special naka, laid by Police team from PP Kakryal. He was smuggling the liquor pouches for their illegal sale in holy town Katra.
A case FIR number 87/2015 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra.
