Police arrests three smugglers, rescues seven bovines

RAJOURI, June 6: Rajouri police today arrested three bovine smugglers and rescued seven bovine animals from their posession.
According to the reports, Rajouri police led by SI Jatinder Singh under the supervision of SHO police station Rajouri, Inspector Yash Paul Singh, laid nakas at two different locations–Khandli and Saranoo on National Highway and intercepted two TATA Mobiles bearing registration numbers JK02F -1785 and JK02AR -8563, and rescued seven bovine animals being smuggled ilegally from Rajouri to Srinagar via Thanamandi.
Police also arrested Asif Mehmeood son of Mohd Hafeez, a resident of Planger, Hussan Parvaiz son of Gh Nabi, a resident of Saranoo and Riaz Ahmed son of Mohd Alam, a resident of Sunderbani in this connection and seized both the vehicles.
In this connection, two separate FIRs –299 /2015 and 300/2015 under Section 188 RPC 3PCA have been registered at police station Rajouri.
