JAMMU, June 8: An accident victim, who was undergoing treatment here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), succumbed to his injuries, this evening while a man was injured today when an auto turned turtle at Top-Sherkhanian area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the deceased man has been identified as Surinder kumar (45) son of Gullu Ram of Barnal (Akhnoor). He was injured after a fall from his bike on June 4 and was shifted to GMCH Jammu on the same day in a critical condition.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for completing medico-legal formalities, tomorrow.
An auto turned turtle today at Top-Sherkhanian area of city outskirts. In the mishap, a youth identified as Sonu (25) son of Nanak Chand of Patoli (Janipur) received injuries. He was shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
