JAMMU, June 13: A girl today made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in upper Roop Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the girl has been identified as Priya (22) daughter of Darshan, a resident of upper Roop Nagar, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Domana.
The girl was shifted by family members to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter. However, it was known why the girl took this extreme step.
