PDP-BJP Govt failed on all fronts: NC

JAMMU June 13: In commemoration with the death anniversaries of veteran leaders Mirza Mohammed Afzal Beg and Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shah, National Conference leaders today recalled their contribution in political evolution and socio-economic transformation of Jammu and Kashmir.
“They laid an indelible imprint by their selfless service for the upliftment of poor and down trodden”, the leaders said at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here.
Presiding over the function, District President Urban, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal paid glowing tributes to the late leaders and said they guided the party during most testing times and provided much needed guidance to younger generation of politicians.
Paying tributes to Mr Beg and  Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shah,  Ram Paul, former Minister and Ex-MLC said that the late leaders worked tirelessly for scripting the saga of progress and development of the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and remained instrumental in fostering the bonds of amity and brotherhood between different segments of society.
Jugal Mahajan,  Bimla Luthra Ex-MLA,  Haji Mohd Hussain Ex- MLC,  S S Bunty Provincial president Youth National Conference and   Pardeep Bali also paid homage to Mr Beg and  Shah.
Meanwhile, the district level functionaries of the National Conference also discussed the strategy to reach out the people and highlight problems confronted to them.
