LONDON, June 14: Hollywood star Halle Berry has revealed she sacrifices sleep to be a working mother.
The “Extant” actress, who has seven-year-old daughter Nahla with ex-partner Gabriel Aubry and 20-month-old Maceo with husband Olivier Martinez, said it is “not easy” juggling her personal and professional lives, reported Contactmusic.
Asked how she juggles her busy life, she said, “It’s not easy I can tell you. I just forgo sleep most days. It’s exciting though. Being a mother of two kids, I wanted to find work where I don’t have to travel so much any more.”
The 48-year-old beauty began work on “Extant” shortly after Maceo was born and she admits she was unprepared for how busy she would be shooting a TV series rather than a movie.
“(The workload) hit me very quickly. For months I did ‘drive-by nursing’ every three hours. I don’t think I’ve ever worked harder in my life.” (PTI)
