Manohar Lal charges PDP-BJP Govt with failure on all fronts

JAMMU, June 15: Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, former Minister and PCC general secretary has charged the PDP-BJP coalition Government with failure on all fronts, especially deliverance and governance as committed by both the parties during Assembly elections in the State.
In a statement, he said that the promises made to the people of Jammu & Kashmir of good governance and better deliverance proved fake as nothing has been seen on ground after a span of hundred days in PDP-BJP regime.  “The working style of BJP in present dispensation is totally against the interest of Jammu province even as the peoples of this region had big expectations from the tall promises of BJP, made during Assembly elections,” he said.
The Congress leader also accused the ruling parties of creating wedge between the peoples of Jammu & Kashmir for their vested interests. “The U turn on all core issues of the State particularly pertaining to   Jammu province such as, has exposed BJP,” he added and listed these issues, such as AIIMS,  Artificial Lake on river Tawi, abrogation of Article 370, settlement of West Pak refugees and  settlement / rehabilitation of displaced persons of 1947 , 1965  and 1971, separate Home Land for Kashmiri migrants, relief to the farmers affected by the recent unprecedented rains, etc.
Manohar Lal alleged that nothing has been done for affected peoples in case of border firing while no relief was provided to the Flood affected families.
Expressing concern over deteriorating law and order situation day by day, the former Minister said that raising of anti India slogans and hoisting of Pakistan flag in Srinagar by separatists and others   was a matter of serious concern.
