RAJOURI, June 16: Ek Saath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with BLSKS and a local NGO, CMC, presented Vijay Malla’s famous Nukkad ‘Jago Bandu Jago Bahya’ here at Bareri in its Monday Theatre series.
It was different experience for the people who watched this nukkad in local language. The nukkad is supported by its title song “Jago Bandu Jago Bahya Paar Lugga Dey Aapuni Nayya”. The nukkad is an eye opener for youth indulging in anti social activities and made them realize about the bad results and repercussions of bad habits.
The play asks the youth to start anti drug addiction campaign from their own locality. The nukkad also highlights another problem of boozing by petty labour class which earns hand to mouth daily wages. Their families are deprived of necessities of life because of this bad habit.
The nukkad also educates our young generation that they should not forget and get away from their own culture, traditions and mother tongue and maintain years old brotherhood among each other.
Naresh Kumar Bhardwaj, In-charge, CMC was the chief guest on this occasion. Other prominent personalities who witnessed this nukkad were Desraj, Bhawo Ram, Khemraj, Krishna and Bhuwa Devi.
Actors who performed in the nukkad were Kamlee Devi, Shallu Kumari, Ravi, Kuldeep Raj, Raju, Sagar and Vijay Malla. The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
