Jammu, June 17: A delegation of Bhadarwah Hospital Bachao Front ( BHBF) under the leadership of Front convener Ranbir Manhas today presented a memorandum of demands to Health Minister Jammu and Kashmir through Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bhadarwah.
Before that a protest rally was addressed by senior Front leaders including Mast Nath Yogi, Ch. Iqbal, Raj Singh Charak and Saleem Butt who highlighted the demands of the Front one by one. The main demand of the Front was to implement the High Court’s directions in letter and spirit.
It may not be out of context to mention here that last year the double bench of High Court headed by Chief Justice had issued clear cut directions to the State Health Department for ensuring 10 to 4 OPD and round the clock emergency services in the Old Hospital Complex from where the existing SDH has been shifted to new Hospital building some five kilometers outside the town.
