SRINAGAR:
Amid growing concerns over the spate of civilian killings in Sopore, a top army commander in Kashmir called on Governor NN Vohra here today and discussed the internal security situation in the Valley.
General Officer Commanding of the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps, Lt Gen. Subrata Saha, called on Vohra at the Raj Bhavan, an official spokesman said.
He said the Governor discussed with th commander certain issues related to the recent internal security developments in the Valley.
They also discussed the security arrangements being made for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra starting July 2, the spokesman said. (AGENCIES)
