RAJOURI, June 19: The police rescued 11 bovine animals and arrested three smugglers in Chingus area during early hours today.
Reports said Sub Inspector Fareed Ahmed during naka at Chingas seized 11 bovine animals being taken towards Valley via Thannamandi and Mughal Road. They were moving on foot to pass the police naka area and then they had to load them in a truck.
Three smugglers were also arrested and a case FIR No. 323/2015 was registered against them. They were identified as Mohd Shabir, son of Mohd Bashir from Nadian, Showkat Hussain, son of Mohd Iqbal from Rani Baletar and Mohd Riaz, son of Bagh Hussain from Raikiban.
