JAMMU, June 20: The BJP Kashmir Displaced Unit was reconstituted today by its president T N Bhat on the advice of BJP general secretary Organization Ashok Kaul during a meeting here. The meeting among others was attended by Mr Koul also.
The decision was taken to strengthen the organizational framework to connect it with masses on a very broader scale. While addressing the meeting Mr Kaul advocated for establishment of two tiers working set up in BJP Kashmir Displaced Unit. One group should have direct liaison with the masses to strengthen the organization and other should redress the long and short term problems of the Displaced Community compounded during the misrule of earlier regimes both at the Centre and the State. Surinder Ambardar (MLC) while addressing the meeting stressed upon strengthening the organization at gross root level.
Among the new office bearers Mohan Ji Sopori was made incharge office; Dr. A.K Kaul will lead a team assisted by J.N Bhat and M.L Bhat for mass mobilization.
P.L Dhar was nominated incharge Grievance Cell and publicity to be assisted by Ashok Bhat and J.L Pandita. Bansi Bhat was nominated head a team to look after Valley related issues such as encroachment of properties, temples, shrine and other issues regarding PM Package employees. He will be assisted by A.K Pandita, Vijay Raina (Bohri).
Ashok Bhat was nominated Incharge Traders Cell assisted by Vijay Raina (Barnai).
Veena Gurtu assisted by Dolly Raina (Jagti) and Sweety Kaul will head the Women related issues.
