SRINAGAR, Aug 15: One person died while as another one was injured in separate road accidents in Kashmir valley.
Reports said that an Army vehicle bearing registration number 073081758 hit a load carrier bearing registration number JK03B/3244 at Sarnal, Anantnag, resulting in critical injuries to the driver of the Load Carrier, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of Ahoo Paisan, Anantnag.
The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag where he succumbed to his injuries. After completing all medico-legal formalities the body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tata Sumo JK03/3589 hit and injured a pedestrian, Ghulam Hyder Rather, aged 60 years, son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Ichgam, Budgam at Galander, Pampore. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
