REASI, June 22: Thieves struck four shops at Dera Baba in Reasi on the intervening night of June 21-22 and decamped with cash, as well as other items.
Burglary took place in Sharma Kiryana Store, Surinder Stores, Mohd Alam Shop and M/s Pannalal Shop.
From Sharma Kiryana store, Rs 12000 cash, one TV set, juice bottles, Kaju and Rajma were stolen while stolen item from Surinder stores, include Rs 6000 cash, soap, cold drinks and juice bottles.
Similarly, Rs 3000 cash and some items were stolen from Mohd Alam’s shop.
The thieves had broken locks of the shutters and also damaged lights outside these shops. Rods and master keys were used for the theft purpose.
Police has registered the case but no arrest was made. Suspected gang of scrap dealers has been detained for interrogation purpose, Police said.
