Srinagar, June 23: Principal District and Sessions Judge Srinagar, Rashid Ali Dar, today issued warrant against R S Jamwal, expert Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) Jammu and directed Director FSL to stop his salary till he appears before the court.
The court issued warrants to the official of FSL and directed for stopping of his salary as he failed to appear before the court as per court directions in connection with investigation of a murder case.
Two doctors deposed before a local court here in connection with 2009 murder of a youth, Asrar Mushtaq Dar from Maisuma, which sparked massive protests and shut down in Maisuma for three days before police cracked the crime. The doctors Dr Fareeda Noor and Dr Abida, told the court about their findings during the post-mortem of Asrar Mushtaq Dar.
According to prosecution, online chat is the genesis of the whole case. Imran Aslam Baba, and his accomplice Asim Ali Vaida killed Asrar Mushtaq Dar of Maisuma because Baba was jealous of his friendship with a Delhi girl on social networking site Orkut.
Dar was invited by Baba on July 3, 2009 to his residence at Illahi-Bagh in the outskirts of Srinagar and in conspiracy with Vaida smashed his head with an iron rod. Later, they threw the body at Malkhah graveyard Rainawari here.
Police Station Rainawari registered an (FIR No. 54/2009) carried out investigation and filed charge sheet in the court.
